Scientific research is one of the keys to reducing the impact of lung disease in our communities. As a result, Breathe California of the Bay Area is proud to support research that seeks cures for lung disease and improves our understanding of lung health issues. In particular, our organization is committed to fostering the studies of our many talented local scientists.

Criteria for Research Funding

Researchers from universities and research institutions across the Bay Area are invited to submit their applications for research support. We will accept applications for research projects that cover any form of lung disease or air quality issues. At this time, Breathe California of the Bay Area chooses to focus on clinical and behavioral research, rather than basic research.
