Current Volunteer Opportunities
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with us! We have a wide and constantly evolving range of volunteer opportunities available at Breathe California. All volunteer roles receive training, materials, and support to make every experience with Breathe California positive for you and impactful for our community. No matter what your unique talents and skills may be, there’s a place for you here! These are just a few of our volunteer roles:
Speakers Bureau: Share health education presentations on topics including secondhand smoke, clean indoor air, asthma management, and more with community groups and schools
Office Work: Work with our office staff to prepare mailings, make phone calls, and help with data entry and other general office tasks
Facilities Maintenance: From raking and sweeping to small maintenance and repair tasks, our facilities maintenance team keeps things running smoothly
Sleep Safe Program: Help sterilize, label, and organize the donated CPAP machines we provide to patients with sleep apnea whose insurance doesn’t cover the cost of the machine
Special Event Volunteers: Event volunteers could help with fundraising, graphic design and public outreach before the event or preparation, setup and breakdown, registration, and refreshments on the day of the event.
Asthma Camp Aides: Help with preparation and assist camp counselors with activities at our summer children’s asthma camp
Do you have additional skills or talents that could help Breathe California serve our community’s lung health needs? We can use translation, photography, graphic design, fundraising, video production, telephone outreach, and more!
