Breathing, Camp Superstuff Works Its
Magic Again!
Sometimes known for sitting on the
sidelines, they held nothing back. As they ran, swam, dove for fly
balls and played games, the kids at Camp Superstuff held their
heads high, emphatically saying no to being breathless. For this
camp wasn’t just about having a great time—for kids
like Niamh Haller, it was about taking control of their asthma and
discovering how to live life to its fullest. Read more.

NUMMI
Helps Agency Upgrade Exhibits
Breathe
California would like to offer its thanks to New United Motor
Manufacturing, Inc. (NUMMI) for its charitable grant to help
us purchase new equipment for two community education displays.
With NUMMI’s support, we were able to purchase lung screening
equipment, a portable laptop and DVD player, educational
DVDs, curricula kits, scientific
demonstration models, and equipment to help us improve the
interactive exhibits we use at countless off-site venues each year.
This grant will now make it possible for us to offer even more lung
screening tests as well as a host of new educational tools at
health fairs, schools, corporations and community groups throughout
the Bay Area. We greatly appreciate NUMMI’s continued support
of our mission to fight lung disease in all its forms!
