Earn an Exclusive Spot Ahead of the Pack at the 2008 ING Bay to Breakers 12K

As the title beneficiary of the 97th annual Bay to Breakers 12K, Breathe California is proud to offer you an exclusive opportunity to earn a preferred start spot ahead of the pack on race day! Sign up as a Breathe California PLEDGE RUNNER and raise money to help us continue the fight against lung disease. If you’re one of the first 200 runners to raise $250, you’ll join our Breathe California team in a special start section on race day. We’re also looking for day-of-event VOLUNTEERS to help out with this great Bay Area tradition! Visit our special Pledge Program website to learn more and we hope to see you at the race on May 18th!

Agency Celebrates Success at BODY WORLDS 2

As BODY WORLDS’ tenure at The Tech came to a close last month, Breathe California joined the event’s organizers in celebrating a successful run that boasted close to 300,000 visitors. In addition, Breathe California’s partnership with BODY WORLDS allowed the agency to reach numerous visitors with important health information, quit-smoking assistance and more! Double Your Gift by Applying for Gift Matching

Did you know that many companies will match employee donations to non-profits, like Breathe California?

Gift matching programs offer Silicon Valley employers a simple way to support non-profit groups that are important to their employees. The next time you make a donation, check with your HR department to see if they offer gift-matching.  Generally, all you have to do is complete and return a form to your HR department, or give us the form to fill out and return to your company. Either way, it's an easy means to double your support!  For more information, contact Steve French at (408) 998-5865 or steve@lungsrus.org

Welcome Our Newest Board Members

On January 14th, Breathe California was thrilled to elect two new members to their Board of Directors. Los Altos resident Mary Fischer, a retired Certified Public Accountant who spent 25 years working for Hewlett-Packard, was elected to serve as the Board Treasurer. The Board also welcomed Minh Duong, a San Jose resident who owns his own business, MHD Home Furniture, and is actively involved with a number of community-based groups. Read more about our newest board members and please join us in welcoming them to the Breathe California family!
