“I really liked camp because it taught me a lot about my asthma. At the camp I learned how to breathe better when I run. Now I can run farther without getting tired. Before the camp I would wheeze at night and it was hard to sleep. Now I sleep better.”

Community Asthma Forums

Breathe California works to educate the public about asthma through a series of community forums, These events offer asthmatic individuals and families a number of resources to help them better manage their disease. Led by medical professionals and health educators, the program touches on the most relevant issues surrounding asthma, including new medications and therapies, tools for effective asthma management and the latest in asthma research.

The forums also offer attendees the opportunity to interact with health professionals in search of better ways to combat the disease. The events are held periodically throughout the year in various community locations across the country. For more information call our office at (408) 998-5865.
