Asthma Programs

In California, as many as 1 in 5 children may be suffering from Asthma. Asthma is the leading cause of chronic illness in children and the #1 source of school absences among chronic illness. In an effort to reduce the burden of asthma, we offer a variety of programs for children suffering from this chronic illness as well as for their families. These programs are designed to educate children and their families about their disease and related Allergies. Programs are offered in the form of school classes, support groups as well as a unique camp experience.

Educational brochures, tapes, and posters about a variety of lung diseases, including information on asthma triggers, medications and management strategies are also available by contacting our Office.
