"My son and I are walking for my mom, who has been a severe asthmatic for the past ten years. She has been hospitalized 7 times has had a tracheotomy. We've had a tough time because there are not many treatments out there, but we hope that raising funds will help change that."

Clean Air Awards Luncheon

Every year, Breathe California honors members of the community who have made efforts to promote clean air. The annual spring luncheon recognizes individuals, businesses, and organizations that have made significant contributions to improving regional air quality.

The celebration luncheon brings together members of the clean air community to celebrate local achievements and is highlighted by a prominent keynote speaker. Speakers have included Senator Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (2005) and CARB chairperson Robert Sawyer, MD.
