Breath of Life Walk
The annual Breath of Life Walk is a chance for local community members
to get together and show their support in the fight against lung disease. Each year, the walk attracts
people directly affected by lung disease as well as family,
friends and others who wish to build healthier communities.
The event features a 5K walk with food, music, prizes and tons of family fun. This year's Breath of Life Walk will be held:

Why participate in the Walk?
100% of funds raised from the Walk will remain here in the Bay Area to help
fund Breathe California’s wide array of local programs and services. These funds will allow us to assist those suffering from lung disease now,
prevent new cases of lung disease in the future and promote lung health
research.
By taking part in the Breath of Life Walk, you can help us:
- Teach kids with asthma how to manage their condition
- Offer education and support to local residents who are suffering from emphysema and lung cancer
- Reduce asthma-related deaths and raise awareness about this serious health condition
- Keep youth from getting addicted to tobacco and offer assistance to smokers trying to quit
- Improve local air quality to ensure that all Bay Area residents can breathe easier
